In more serious news, the future of the exchange needs to be discussed. This exchange was run by two mods the first year. Part way through this year’s round one of the mods had to suddenly pull out due to real life. That left the exchange with only a single mod.
The problem is that while this time of year worked well while there were two of us, with only a single mod it is a really bad time to run it by myself.
Here are the potential options:
-End the exchange with this being the last round.
-Find a new co-mod. I’m the one that handled the AO3 side of things so this would be the community side of things I’d need help with.
-Move to a different time next year.
-Putting the exchange up for adoption
I would like to hear thoughts from both those who have already participated as well as those who have a potential interest in future rounds. I’m also interested in hearing other ideas.
